Vacuum Flow Calculations

Objective To calculate the flow in a vacuum system when the system Cv and vacuum level are known.

Required Data System Cv and Vacuum Level in Inches of Mercury (inHg) or (torr).

Input Item Descriptions

System Cv - The coefficient of flow (Cv) for the system being evaluated.

Vacuum Level (inHg)/(torr) - The vacuum level in the system.

Calculated Item Descriptions

Flow (SCFM)/(nl/m) - The flow through the vacuum system being evaluated.
