Liquid Delta P Calculations

Objective This module calculates the pressure drop in PSI across a system for a liquid application when knowing the flow in gallons per minute and the system Cv in pneumatic terms.

Required Data Coefficient of Flow ,Liquid Flow and Specific Gravity for Liquid.

Input Item Descriptions

Coefficient of Flow (Cv) - The required Cv for the system or component being evaluated. Specific Gravity for Liquid - The specific gravity for the liquid used. The specific gravity for water is 1. Liquid Flow (GPM)/(LPM) - The flow of the liquid in Gallons per minute or Liters per minute.

Calculated Item Descriptions

Differential Pressure (PSI)/(bar) - The calculated pressure drop across the component or system being evaluated.
